What is it?

THATCamp stands for “The Humanities and Technology Camp.” It is an unconference: a free gathering where college students, faculty, instructors, and community members of all skill levels learn and build together in sessions proposed on the spot. It is also a great opportunity to network with fellow humanities enthusiasts!

For more information on THATCamp, check out our THATCamp 101 page.

What should I bring/prepare?

This is an “unconference,” so we will collaboratively set the agenda first thing on the day of the event. Please plan to bring:

  • A computer or portable device. (We will also have some limited computer lab availability.)
  • Ideas for things you’d like to talk about, make, teach, or play with relating to humanities and technology.
  • If you have any project examples, gadgets, or other tools you’re excited to share and discuss, feel free to bring those along.

Who can attend?

Anyone interested in the humanities and technology.

  • College and university faculty and instructors
  • K-12 Educators
  • Students
  • Librarians
  • Museum professionals
  • Non-profit professionals
  • Artists, writers
  • Activists
  • Community members

A small breakfast and lunch will be provided for participants.  See you there!
